Very custom made ....

Is that 1/5th? I've seen a model rotary engine in the past and its something that would only fit a 1/6th or 1/5th car. Maybe this one is smaller.

Couldn't help too much as US ground temperature is much warmer than UK ground temperature.

Default 2006?

THis is way too early for this thread. In the mean time we should focus on what's next for the world or RC racing...THE SUMMER!

Just curious, any word on if next year's winternats are going to conflict with snowbirds?

I agree it is too early, but what do you do when people get excited. As far as the snowbirds, I think you have a valid point there. We should talk to the organisers in Ft Myers and ask them to coordinate so the the two events don't interfere. I would personally also love to have the winternats not collide with Feb 14. (as do every other racer that has a family to take care of as well).

I have already had this discussion with Jim Rice. He does not want to see the races conflict either. I advised him that the snowbirds goes by the daytona 500.

So I informed him of next year's daytona 500 and what dates the snowbirds would be and gave him the dates for the winternats (It's all on my home PC, i'm at work right now).

The monkey is by the back door and ready to go back to the WinterNats again. Hopefully 2006 will be another good trip.

You know, it is all about keeping the monkey happy.

If the Snowbirds and Winternats conflict again next year, it is no big deal. Appearently there are plenty of racers for both races. I would really like it if the Winternats had a little smaller number of cars. Of course I realize that I am in the minority.

There are a few of us here in the UK that are currently working out the costs of travel and accomodation for the 2006 Winternats, so if anything the entry list may get larger.
