Excellent job speedy !!! What are the main differences between your conversion and the car my buddy Rino Lino did last yr... I seen Scotty gray win with it the last homestead Gt event. Also is that a Kyosho gen 2 tranny and clutch bell/flywheel ?

Thanks for the compliment.

Really 2 different cars.. 2012 vs. 2013 / imo the 2012 and 2013 drive very different.

I really don’t see anything that we did was the same except making a winning car; Rino did a great job.

The picture u see with the Kyosho parts in post #4 was the 2nd version of the 2 speed, since then I dropped using any Kyosho parts for the 2 speed because they didn’t have enough gearing options for me so I have redesigned it since.

Looks like Jmilz used Kyosho Evolva parts for his 2 speed, look forward to racing him this season.

Thanks, I hope to make more race dates in 2014. Can't wait to have just a smidgin of good weather so I can test and tune in Brooklyn. The car has the stock GT2 tranny in the photos, but thanks to spooky1 I have a Evola waiting in the wings for more gearing options. It's gonna be interesting!

Electric soon to follow

Hey guys I have one of these. I'm an off-road racer and I had an extra buggy. Rino Lino is a friend if mine and he helped me convert it. The car drives awesome but I'm just not an on road guy. No offense. I'm looking to sell the roller. I'll put pics later this afternoon

It's the stock Xray 2013 Xb9 chassis with the spur/2-speed gear hole opened up. All the other holes are oem as well except 1 for the fuel tank.

Imo, the great thing about Xray is the OEM parts are Very high quality out of the box
