The rear center universal and the radio posts are good upgrades but IMHO 0 degree rear toe is not. You will loose stability on speed runs. I like 2 degree better.

The rear center universal ifw160 is tad bit long, so this would be perfect fit.

I'm trying to see if I can fit clutchbell from serpent cobra gt so I can fit 4 shoe clutch. All my cars have 4 shoe clutch except my gt2. Evolva clutchbell can only fit 3 shoe clutch. I want all of my cars to fit 4 shoe clutch and I think serpent cobra gt clutch system work perfectly.

Just a little update on the Novarossi Rex Revenge .21 motor. I thought it wouldn't have enough torque to pull my GT so bought a Nova Roma as a backup if I didn't like the Revenge .21 . But the Revenge .21 Rocks! Plenty torque to pull my heavy GT and the top end is crazy! It absolutely screams! Other people were asking what motor I'm using

The only problem I had was overheating with the body on. So I put my Alpha motor head and its a direct fit. I retuned it a bit and it's simply awsome. Very easy to start, holds the tune really really well compared to my alpha motors. So I didn't even open the Roma because I'm very happy with this engine.

Currently I used 125,000 front diff, and 50,000 rear diff and it's doing very well.

Oh and the other thing was I was previously using 6 spoke sweeps, and now using the 16 spoke sweeps and it handles much much much better! It feels like a different car due to smaller diameter of the 16 spoke. You guys should try the 16 spoke sweeps!

That's because the lack of torque of the Revenge, lower first gear would help, a low end pipe like 053 will help too and harder clutch springs or just try the Roma and you will see your car spinning the six spoke sweeps all the time the you will have to do the contrary, gearing up, changing for a top end pipe/manifold and using a softer clutch springs.

Yeah, I'm completely a noob at this on road thing, and have a lot to learn. I was always an offroad person but this on road is so much fun. But the money on these tires are killing me
I can slap in the Roma in there right now but it might wear out my tires even faster, and I want more time with the revenge. Revenge is my very first On road engine and very first novarossi for me. The top end screams nothing like the offroad and it's just so exciting and gets my blood pumping like crazy! It freakin sounds like formula one !!!

Nick I didn't know you were that old! I'm still young at 36
These GT8 class should be more popular than it is. It's so much fun.

yes after driving of roads 1/8 1/5 on roads 1/5 ..i end up with gt8 because its easy to work with ,its still a two speed ,you can do all mods easy to cutch 60 miles speed- and not the complicated fragile on road 1/8 formulas

As nik m said the GT8 give addiction. Right now I'm using a TNS modded Roma and a TNS modded Picco EMX WC with it. The firts geared 17/21 and the second 16/20 and with both I can reach 63-65 mph paired with a 9886/41032 combo, the problem is the tires, they don't last too much at those speeds.

Yeah it seems the GT8's eat up tires alot. I run it on the track just for fun so I switched it out to 55 shores and it's holding up great even after whole day. They don't stick nowhere close to 40 or 45 but 55 lasts 10 times longer.
I will never buy 40 shores !! They lasted 10 minutes!
