Hello guys,,, new here and was looking for some help on GT2 car.
I just got a brand new GT2 nitro (demon body),,, and I'm really looking to increase top speed on it with hopefully just re-gearing on the 2-speed pinions and etc... I seem to be having a tough time finding proper pinions (or spurs) to try to step it up a bit.. I'd like to stay with the stock KE-25 motor for now and see if i can squeeze about 4 to 7 more mph out of it and not completely kill the acceleration from a low roll or dead stop.. I understand with greater top speed it will reduce low speed acceleration, I get that.
All I know is my stock pinions are the 15t for 1st gear, and 2nd is 18t,, I'm not sure what the tooth counts on the stock spur gears are?
I'd like to try to figure out what ever is the correct gears to buy so that they all end up with the proper mesh. I wanted to go 17t and 20t respectively (i assume) to keep everything in line with the proper mesh.. but I cant seem to come up with a 17t that is labeled as a 1st gear? they seem to come up as 2nd gear when I try to search 17t for the GT2?
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated and looking forward to your responses.

you can use fw-06 clutch bell with Evolva gears to get 17/20 or 17/21 on the bell

Gearing ... the split between 1st and 2nd should be around 3-4 teeth, not more for racing conditions
stock spurs are 46/43
Vs058 clutch bell (not vsw like I said earlier - Sorry) accepts Evolva pinions like 16/20 or 17/21
you can use that in GT/GT2 to enable longer gearing for fast speed tracks
