Default OS TR - 3 or 5 port ?

hi

i currently race an os tr p (silver case) and was thinking of upgrading to a more powerful engine like the os tr p t (black case)

would this be a suitable upgrade ? i drive on medium tracks with a kyosho fw05r. i race in club meets and in races so i think most races dont allow 5 ports

should i just stick with the 3 port version ?

i was going to get a black case 5 port tr at a good price thats why im asking this

thanks heaps
john

if it is a good deal then get it. it is always fun to play with a 5 porter even if you don't get to race it much. they are a blast to drive around when you can and also help to develop driving skills.

If you want more power and are thinking about legality, go for the Sirio Evo II. It's $20 more, but has more power over both. This version has been proven to be easier to tune, though I never really found the older version to be finicky. Otherwise, if they let you run 5 port, that TR will be great.
