Default Machining required

We are looking for someone to create some custom alum. side plates for a Serpent VETEQ 1/8 gascar.

This will be a custom-machined left-side chassis plate for a Serpent VETEQ '01. The custom plate will be based on the VETEQ '01 left-side chassis plate (901130), but will have the side-belt tensioner mounting location of the VETEQ '02 left-side chassis plate (901128).

You can see images of these two left-side plates on the Serpent website at www.mytsn.com. Go to the Products area and do a search on the part numbers.

I believe that the alum is 4mm thick 7075 T6 or 6061 aluminum.

We already know of a source who has the design done, and has produced this side-plate in carbon fibre, but we want it made out of alum (as close to original material as possible).

Is there is anyone who can help us out?

Regards,

Glenn, I don't know of anybody who would do it for you or your geographical preference... You could try http://www.jplracing.com ... They are based in Singapore for what it's worth and I would not know if they are interested to do what you're asking them to do. But from their website, they seem to cater for your kind of needs. PM prawntoe. I believe he's connected to JPL Racing. Good luck.

Thanks, D !

I am in contact with Roger at JPL Racing, and are discussing the project.

Cheers!

Default Machine work needed

How many parts do you need?

Do you have a prototype drawing or cad file?

We don't currently have any design files or CAD drawings...
We are trying to get hold of some from a fellow who designed the plates we are looking for... but makes them only in carbon fibre (not alum).

Default Drawings

If you have a sample part, that would be fine too, it can be made from that alone as well. I would have to draw it up based on the sample part.
