When I called to check a couple of weeks ago, I was told any off-road engine from .21 to .28 no matter what the retail price. However, Rallygame engines and the OS .19 Speed are prohibited. The only flat chassis car allowed is the OFNA DM Ones due to those being allowed to race from their inception. I guess that would mean the aftermarket flat chassis would be okay for the DM One but not for any of the other chassis cars that have kick-up. Mike at Leisure Hours might want to verify/clarify that one.

Hi Shawn, I hope these questions mean that you are thinking about coming. The carbon fiber chassis is ok to run, I'm still not sure if it helps. The engine is any priced offroad engine. The person that told you $200 was mistaking it with Midwest Series rules. Sorry about that. I hope you can make it, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Mike!!!! Going to make it for sure! That answered all my questions.....
Anyway to send a paypal for sign up instead of check? Don't use check book anymore.....wanted to make sure to sign up by the 8th to get the t-shirt. There are several of us from Texas coming! Cannot wait - heard great things about your facility/track.

Also, could you provide the general guideline for quals/mains/times.....friday practice only? Saturday Quals? Sunday Mains? How long are the mains/quals, and is there any practice on Saturday before quals or sunday before mains?

Running two classes so just need to be prepared for tires/wear parts etc....

thanks again and I cannot wait!

Shawn

Shawn, you can send in your entry and then just pay when you come to the race. As far as the schedule, Friday will be practice from 12 to 8. Sat. there will be 3 qualifiers and 1 on Sunday morning. Qualifiers are the traditional 10 minutes long. If I remember right there is some practice Saturday morning not sure on Sunday. A mains for 1/8 and 1/10 will be 1 hour, Gt will be 45 minutes. The lower mains will be shorter in progression.

I'm glad to here you are coming.

Mike,

Any of the locals planning to run the weekend before (17th) for some practice? I have a new car and need to get some laps on it before the race.

Hey Rick, the 17th is Father's day and we are closed that day. I'll have a new car too that I need to get used.
