Clete, Thanks for keeping on them, maybe with a new President it will become more of a priority.

Thanks Doug for the picture. How long is that track?

Just like to share, this is the track layout we are thinking. Any comments? We will run Nitro 1/8 GT.

Any tips on what needs to change to run a 1/8 buggy as a GT? I have no intention of using a spool in the center. That's a compromise to me, I want to keep my center diff. I've got plenty of engine for the short track we have here.

Shocks? Springs? Ride height? Does it need a swaybar change? Just the basics please.

Car is an Xray XB9. I'm still going to run it offroad, so simple changes that allow me to switch back and forth are what I'm looking for.

I'm thinking some old-school buggy shocks (i.e. "small bore") and springs, the stiffest I can find on the springs... Maybe even truggy springs that are cut a few coils to add stiffness. I'll have dedicated shocks and springs to allow the switch back and forth.

The body I'm planning to run should allow me to use full height shock towers, so no issue there.

Homestead track is longer and wider. Thinking 320' x 120' (98m x 37m)

Your track is similar size to the track that Tony runs on in Porter Tx. There are pictures on RCTech if you go to the states, Texas and look at the South West Series. (nice group of racers, and pretty fast as well)

Hello from France,

that body is made for short chassis.

It comes clear.

For the moment the body is not on the website because it's a new products.

http://www.imodel.fr/lang-en/

You can ask my friend Stephane at the factory, they can provide some bodies to US people.

Au revoir.

Hahaha yeah that Team C no kick up cheater car thats why Gus kills us all the time!!! I hope it gets added to the rules so there isnt any of that drama again. The Team C is an awesome kit and handles really well. I had both the Short and Long chassis but went to the Serpent to get them on the road here in Utah. I look forward to beating doors with ya in July man! We may need to have manditory "safety meetings" this year since its legal haha
