Default r40 hopups

hi guys,
I am getting my r40 soon and I was wondering what hop ups you all recomend. I am buying it used with a sirio .12, exhaust system, hpi lightened chassis, kyosho aluminum threaded shocks and more for $350 So what are some worthwhile hopups that I should invest in. Also can someone explaing to me what the advantage of a one way diff is and why it is better than stock.
Thanks

the other thing you should buy is the light weight spur kit thats what Hara uses in his r40 and i dont think a one way should be use in nitro touring cars just my opinion.

One way diffs are find in a nitro sedan, but ball diffs are another story.

Nitroracer- Some upgrades recommended to me by an HPI FT driver is the lightweight chassis, graphite shock towers, lightweight 2speed set, and lightweight 2speed shafts.

ok great thanks. I think the car already has the light weight chassis lightened and lightened driveshafts. I will buy those things if the car is said to be as heavy as it really is.
Thanks

The weight is a serious issue when you want to get into heavy racing. I got use to the car bone stock and when I've been able to drive the car faster, it wasn't fast enough for me. Therefore I felt the upgrades making it lighter will have it respond the way I want to. Afterall, the R40 is very responsive to adjustments so take your time.

it helps with rear traction, you can take two screws out of the stock brace one top and one bottom and that helps but not as good as the flex brace
