yes im n cebu nw. mga racers dito ok na ok. in fact preparing for the 3rd invatational race dis coming april. manila,bacolod and other places r comng also.

Default Mga kabayan!

need your opinion po.

When i start my engine, it idles perfectly normal, but after 2-3 laps the idle goes high and never comes back to normal idle.

wonder if its rich or lean?

which needle should i adjust the 'low speed or Main'

please advise... thanks in advance..

Babaan mo ung idle needle and run for 3 to 5laps and then check mo ung temp kung rich sya or lean and tingnan mo ung takbo kung may usok o wala gaano,at pakiramdaman o pakinggan mo ung takbo ng makina while u running it if its lean or rich,pag mausok masyado and ung temp ay below 200f, rich un,pag over 260f lean naman.
Now pag mataas pa rin ang idle and tingin mong lean sya,irich mo ung upper needle ng 1 to 2 hour,and run it again and check the temp,kung ok at normal ang temp nya at mataas pa rin ang idle,bawasan mo pa uli ung idle needle or bawasan mo ung lower speed needle.
Ang lower speed needle d2 mo itotono ung bottom end mo kung gano mo gusto kalakas or gano ka lean ang gusto ng motor.
And pag natono mo na ung lower speed needle mo,ang madalas mo na lang itono ay ang upper needle.
Remember importante na imonitor mo ang temp para makuha mo ang tamang lakas ng motor.

Babaan mo ung idle needle and run for 3 to 5laps and then check mo ung temp kung rich sya or lean and tingnan mo ung takbo kung may usok o wala gaano,at pakiramdaman o pakinggan mo ung takbo ng makina while u running it if its lean or rich,pag mausok masyado and ung temp ay below 200f, rich un,pag over 260f lean naman.

super linaw ang pagpapaliwanag mo, kaso ang problema ko wala kong temp gauge, walang avail d2 sa dubai. at ung idle screw nya sapat na para sa idle nya, masyado ng maliit ang butas para makapasok ang hangin tulad ng sinabi mo sa mga unang talata, i rich ko ung main needle ng konti.

kung pagbabasehan ang performance nya tama lang at maayos ang takbo, yun nga lang pag tapos ng 3-5 laps, tumataas ang idle, ok ung clutch bell at distansya ng flywheel sa makina.

salamat po kapatid. More speed para sayo.

Walang problema kabayan,sana makakuha ka ng temp gauge para consistent at maalagaan mo ng tama ang makina mo,at pagtapos mo maglaro gawin mo tanggalin mo ung natitira mo pang nitro gas and then start mo uli hanggang mamatay at start mo uli hanggang maubos ang gas natira tira sa tangke at fuel line.
Pagtapos tanggalin mo ung glowplug mo at lagyan mo ng at least 3 drops ng after run oil,and then ikot mo ung flywheel para kumalat ang oil sa loob.
And then iayos mo ang piston sa BDC(bottom dead center) ung piston dapat nasa ilalim kada pag tapos o pagpatay ng makina,dahil pagnaiwan sa taas ang piston at lumamig ang makina bumabalik ang porma ng sleeve at sisikip to,di ba pag mainit ang makina nageexpand to kaya dapat lagi BDC ang piston.
Tapos non ibalik mo na ung glowplug and you'll be ok!!
Punta ka sa mga website ng rc sa honkong or d2 sa US or sa dogboneind.com para makaorder ka ng temp gauge.

Pre...kapag sinabing "babaan" yung idle screw...yung turn ba is Clockwise or Counter?

Kapag nag-tune ba ng engine ano yung magandang starting settings/point ng mga screws (high, low and idle)? Btw, I own a stock engine that comes with the Kyosho V1S.

Pag irich mo ang needle ipihit mo ng papunta sa kaliwa at pag ilean papunta sa kanan mo.
Kapag bago ang makina madalas nakapresettings na un,baga factory settings kaya I break in mo muna sa ganong settings at kung feel mong masyadong lean or rich saka ka magadjust.

ung sa bdc minarkahan ko na ung flywheel. saka ok na ung after run oil at pagubos ng gas sa tanke...

Kapatid, may mga nagsabi na baka daw may leak ang tank ko. sa tingin mo ba isa ring basehan un?

may mkukuha nakong temp gauge, isa sa mga LHS dito.

Ayos yan pag may tempgauge ka.
Ung leak sa tank tignan mo rin pero di masyado ganon ang difference ng epekto ng idle sa tangke.
Icheck mo ung fuel hose line mo at ung back pressure hose line.
Ang back pressure line ang mas medyo may epekto sa pagidle ng mataas,check mo mabuti kung walang leak.
