Default New Engine

Hi All,

Just joined up and need a bit of information regarding a new engine.

I have a Tamiya TGS with a FS-12SS I believe which I use for bashing and having a laugh with, however the engine has gone kaput!

I am looking for a new engine to put in with say max of £100.

I know I need a side exhaust and rotary carb, can I use my old exhaust?

I have seen the HPI Nitrostar T3.0 and the G3.0 but I am unsure of what one is suited.

Cheers All,
Simon

No ones able to tell me if one of the two above engines will fit in?

What have you done to find an answer by yourself?

With 1 minute google I came to this site:
http://paddymix.tripod.com/id1.html

A nitrostar .15 is a direct fit and while the .18 engines are also a smallblock they must fit as well.

I saw that, but as its a different car and a different engine, i wanted to make sure?

So really I still dont know because the engines I posted up above each has a different shaft coming out, one long and one short......

best bet is to take it to a hobby shop and ask. Most people on rctech are more so racer type rc enthusiasts so maybe they won't know what will fit this car.
