Newbie help please.

Hi I've been racing off road for a couple years and love it but have the itch to try on road. I'm thinking of a 1/10 nitro sedan like mugen Mrx 5 or kyosho v one with def. Either nova flash or keep on. I wondering if any seasoned in road guys could help with which car is the best and motor and what all I need to get started. Thanks

For trying on-road, i wouldn't buy new just in case you don't like it, unless you have a disposable income :D. The Xray NT1 used in my opinion might be one of the better used chassis. The MRX5 used might be tough to fine, and not to mention they stip our 2nd to easily. The RRR would be another good used chassis as well, great for the track or local club race. I wouldn't shell out the money for the "Keep on" yet, i would get the 2011 PT which will be just as powerful but not break your bank. Another solid car is the KM HK-1. A little heavy out of the box but comes with all the aluminum hop ups so you can be a little more rough on it.

Keep in mind the on-road racing style is quite different than off-road. I have seen many guys be able to go from on-road to off-road and compete an a local or state level, but few guys come from off-road to on-road and be competitive.
