I just got it delivered today. I'll take pics and all that stuff tomorrow. I'm trying to get rid of my buggy now so I can afford a engine for this thing. What engine are you running?

Any car in capable hands can dominate with a great setup. I placed 2nd in a Bmain years ago with an HPI r40 and OS .12TR back when the MTX-4R was one of the most popular cars being used. Take time to practice on the track, keep a few setup sheets handy and be prepared to buy lots of tires and hardware if you choose to race.

Thank you. Soon as April hits I'll be ready to start practicing on a track and can afford spares hopefully. I'm pretty sure I can get a heap of parts for it online though

Determine your budget for racing and that should give you an idea of what level of racing you'd like to do. No need to go crazy spending thousands for a parking lot race for fun. Above all have fun!

I usually send the pictures from my cell phone to my email address. Then upload them on Photobucket. That or you can upload them right from your PC however you have to meet the size requirements.

Here are some old of my MTX-4 (sold and not the R version) from years ago. Only upgrades I recall putting on it were the thicker rear shocktower, CVAs all around, and that's bout it.

at the track

Back then they had a big sale for the regular 4 version for $319 since some factory team driver edition was going to be coming out. Nowadays if you want to get into nitro sedan its $200 more just to buy a kit brand new and they cost as much as the 8th onroads! If I weren't strapped for cash at the time I would have kept it and continued racing it when the opportunity arrives. Don't need the newest car to be in the winners circle. The good ol days I tell ya.

Look good man. I sold my buggy yesterday so now I can actually put an engine is this thing. Had a guy going to sell me an Axe Rossi x3. It's going to be a slow process but I hope to have her up and running by march. I'll post pics soon because I'm always on here from my phone. I paid 350 for my r version.
