Yes Sir! You are correct, forgot that the GT do not have a center diff.

I'm a bit conflicted. I want to get into GT racing this summer. Saw someone listing a cobra 3.1 roller for $275. Or should I wait for the new SRX release. Hmmm...what to do.

Honestly, GT3.1 is a great GT and it is still on top of its game......and yes, SRX-GT is new, but it will be 2X of $275 easily PLUS there will be options that you will need to get. I would buy that GT3.1 and race.

What's your impression of the new SRX-GT8 so far? Are you getting faster lap time with this vs 3.1?

Not my car....it is racing currently @ Hong Kong Asian Nitro Championship............I would not disclose the result but I like the looks of the new car, especially the aluminum bulkhead front and rear.

Impressive changes on that car. Are the metal bulkheads 'preproduction' prototypes before finishing injection molds or what will be in the newer release?? (and which 'car' are we looking at? I got left behind at '1.0++'.)
I plan to enjoy some more 'staring' at the new throttle servo position and the new/improved battery box. I could never figure out why the box on my '1.0' car was about 1/8" too small in all directions.
Stiffeners on suspension arms scream 'serious business'. Nice car.

I think quite a lot of those aluminum parts are "options". Future upgrade....

Cool car, nice upgrades but nothing major. If I had a well-setup Cobra 3.1 I wouldn't feel too rushed to change

BTW what's the deal with all the screws in the chassis? Arm plates mounted through the chassis? That's a nice idea. Also interested to see how the Serpent guys find the diffueser: I see almost all the IGT8 guys remove it

Hello from France,

sorry, it's electric powered but the Serpent is awesome...

here's a video of the A4 main final of the first round of the French Championship.

I took the pole and overall 1st place (despite being second in this video!!!) with my Serpent Cobra GTe 3.1 custom with 6S batteries.
