Anybody know who has the v2 rear body mount in stock? I can only find the v1's. Trouble is they are both the same part number 600583!

When you build the shocks don't push the shaft all the way up when bleeding the shock. Push the shaft up and leave about 10mm out of the shock body. Then check the rebound. The more gap you leave the more rebound you'll get.

is downstop the same as droop? how should downstop be measured? it seems to me that you would measure without the shocks. please help.

Downstop is the setting using the Allen screws through the arms that limit downward travel of the arm. You need chassis blocks and downstop gauge to measure it properly. You can set it without but it's far easier with the blocks and gauge.

You'll need the blocks before you can set the down stops properly. Put the chassis on the blocks on flat surface and measure, with the gauge, the distance between the lowest point on the hub and the surface. Set it to the settings detailed on the setup sheet you are referring to by adjusting the downstop Allen screw.

Default aluminum coated servo saver...

I understand this is a good option because you can use Loctite with it to keep screws from getting loose. I'm a bit confused as to what gets loose as everything seems to have nylock nuts. Can someone please explain what gets loose?

The screws that screw into the alu parts that don't have nylocks. There are a lot of these within the steering rack as well as the camber link inner mounts loosen as well if not loctited. Also had issues with all the Allen screws throughout the transmission for example that retain the pinions on the lay shafts and the 2sp out drives.

Hi! I would have to disagree. Most of the content in those 5 videos is pertinent to GT cars. The setup tips and principles in them are pretty much universal and would apply to any chassis that has the same adjustment possibilities...

Default Look for setup for technical track

Hi, I;m new to GT. I'm surrender to setup the GT to run proper in tight corner track.

Now my setup is:
-Buku GT clutch, clutch is good, but it's too powerful for the track, wheel spin always
- front suspension insert, 3down fr, 3up rear
- R. suspension insert, 4 up and 4 in
- front spring Purple, 2.5 roll bar
- R spring Black, 2.5 roll bar
- F Diff oil 300k, R diff oil 15000
- ride height: F 8mm, R 9mm

My feeling is, the car dont want to stop and turn in high speed. only can turn in low speed. no on throttle steering. Any idea? Thx!
