Hello I currently have a kyosho inferno gt2 right now going to run this summer but it's tired. I want to make the switch to a serpent. I kind of need to know is it better to get the ready to run or the sedan kit. And Does the kit have the upgrades? Please steering me in the right direction.

Hello guys, Im getting into the hobby, and after talking to the guys at the track in Porter, tx. ive got a lot of recommendations, which led me to go for the cobra gt,
TerribleTy ,im interested in this list too, also if you can recommend an engine, as Ive found little info on which way to go on this, a 200 dollar range I hear is recommended for beginers, and fits my budget. btw I decided to start with this chassis as it looks like I can learn a lot from building this kit, so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance...

Explain to me
Can someone explain to me why the suspension brackets 600155 and 600156 aren't fitting on my Cobra GT RTR Nitro? The Hinge pins are too thick.
And can someone explain to me why the steering servo arm 600290 isn't working on the Dragon RC servo because it's too small for the wheel.
This sucks and is driving me mad...............

For build tips as well as a full build on the GTe chassis come check this out. Tom How from Turkey did the build and then I wrote up a setup guide for the car which is also attached. Check it out here http://www.rcbuilds.net/builds/onroa...bra-gte-build/

This taken from the setup guide I created for the build of the GTe. This applies to the Nitro car!!!! See this kind of info as well as much more in the guide, or join us on Facebook.
Option parts: I recommend in two categories. Keep it simple and cheap or go all out.
First keep it simple: First 10 deg plastic caster blocks 600136. Second depends on how you want the car to feel. I have seen many cars do very well with just the plastic blocks. Set the car up and go for the win.
For the all-out setup: I recommend the following.
Center Diff Support Alu 600286
Servo Saver Alu 600296
Servo saver spring hard 600330
Steering block alu 0-deg 600611
C hub 0-deg 600694
Aluminium servo arms for both steering and throttle.
Black springs 600602
shock tops alu 600347

you will need the hinge pin (600108) and the suspension bracket inserts (600132)
RTR uses plastic brackets that accept straight pins to reduce cost.
600290 is a 23T spline for use with Sanwa Servos. Use 600292 which is 25T spline...

As for the 600292, I was wrong. I own the 600292 but it doesn't fit on the Dragon servo wheel. The lever notch is too small. It simply doesn't fit unless I destroy the lever.

I picked up a RTR Cobra GT, have 2 hump batteries and a set of sweeps for on road, this this is amazing and lots of fun. Would anyone like to buy it or make an offer? it only has about 2 hours on it driving around the parking lot at work. I can get photos if you would like.

I need some confirmation about the V2 rear suspension....converting from original V1 arms and forward shock position.
I have mounted the new V2 arm (600633), and the 98mm drive shaft (600102). Mounted everything per the V2 updated manual....(they did not mentioned about the 98mm drive shaft). My question is....does the UPRIGHT 600418 (it said TRUGGY upright) stay the same from the original version?
I have seen Serpent has V2 UPRIGHT, such as 600476 (811 Buggy?) and 600630 (811-Truggy). I think I mounted the 600476 and my 98mm shaft is just long enough to mount within the drive cup from the rear diff. I don't think the upright of the Cobra GT with V2 suspension need to change....but that is how I think. If the GT are indeed using the Truggy upright, isn't it I have to use the V2 updated UPRIGHT like the 600630? I would like others to confirm. Thanks.

There are two more choices 600418 and 600634 both possibly moving the upper link forward, at least looking at the pictures.
Have not had a chance to measure them, but at least worthwhile to look at.
Possibly someone else can confirm.
