just bought the rtr kit. im brand new to 1/8 gt. what spare parts should I collect right off the bat? any factory issues that will prevent me from parking lot racing immediately after break in, bone-stock?

what glow plugs should I run in the .21 nova?

im assuming I will need a better/spare clutch, spare gears (suggestions?)

any suspension parts I should keep on hand for this chassis?

they say hindsight is 20/20.. if you bought the rtr kit, what would you wish you had known from the start?

only reason I ask.. I cant find any major recurring problems (online anyway) just trying to prepare myself. also, one major question, what size/type battery pack should I get for this thing? thanks in advance for any/all help!

Is there a way to tell the difference between soft, med and hard clutch springs?

Zakariah, I recently picked up the RTR kit as a second Cobra and you will want the 10 degree front caster blocks for better steering . That car is great out of the box. I finished second in our open class with it with not changes except tires. Run some Sweep 40 or 45 shore tires and you should be good to go. Enjoy that car , they don't come any better.

SER600136 . There you go. As for plug and battery. Use the NIMH packs for the stock servos. If you want to use lipo, you will want to replace the stock servos with high voltage ones. The plug should be a Nova Rossi one. Depends on altitude and nitro, but try the 25% nitro with an 8 plug. Henry , I have to race you so wait until after the race to use that part number for the caster hubs.

considering the treaded 50 shore option for tires.. im gonna be on super hot parking lots, very rough surfaces around here for me. im gonna get them pre-mounted, should I get inserts for them? if so, which inserts would be best on short parking lot courses?

just wanna be sure before I spend 65$ on the wrong set of tires for what I need lol.
