Guys , I didnt literally mean a month!
The bodies are very thin, thats just a fact. If you alternate between two you can definitely make them last. but they are nowhere near as durable as the new Serpent RTR body, Protoform or Kyosho.

Just a quick question.
I'm going to try the new Reds Racing Quatro clutch. Anyone tried it yet in GT?
I'm going to be using it on the new R5r engine from Reds.

First spring day of practice today. The car felt awesome and was ridiculously fast. I think that the ball bearing ackermann bar gives a different angle than stock and the car feels even more balanced out of the corners.
I warmed up with single tanks, did a few adjustments then some 10 to 20 minute runs. The gears feel really smooth and the bulkheads didn't budge. I'll try to do some 30 min runs next weekend but it seems that this configuration is really good.

BM I just read on redrc about the Reds clutch that it's designed to decrease wheel spin for offroad. I assume that such a clutch is designed to engage at low RPMs. In GT traction is usually very high because asphalt offers a large amount of grip compared to dirt. It will make the car easier to drive though. But for given track conditions (like lets say a prepped track on a race day) a clutch that engages early will cause your engine to overheat and underperfom, unless you are geared very short.
Hope this helps.

For example, the team C stock clutch feels awesome and you can utilise almost the entire powerband of the engine. It allows for a super smooth corner exit. But the stock gear ratio is extremely short (12.36 in first and 9.06 in second) which is why that clutch - gearing combination is good. If I were to use the stock clutch with my current gear ratio the engine would over heat very quickly, causing tremendous loss of power and eventually damage to the engine.

Yea, first thing i had to do when testing the new gear ratios was tighten up the BUKU clutch, it bogged really bad before the adjustments.
THe reds clutch has two settings on it, not sure what they are though.

Hi Guys, I know Marcus is involved with developing the teamC GT8 and I am really hoping he could help by requesting team C release larger pinion gears. We all have the 17/21 gears but we really need 18/22 pinions!! Mainly in Aus the foam tyres we run are much smaller overall diameter than the rubber tyres, and what make things worse, as they wear down in size the car really looses top speed. It would really give us foam tyre running racers the ability to not have to give the engine a rest at half straight as it feels like it is stuck in first gear. It would also then give us the option to play with spur gears to fine tune gear ratios.
Also what life do you guys give for the one way in the 2 speed transmission. My GT car has run approx 2.5 hours and was just curios to know what life you guys are getting out of the one way.
Great thread guys it really has helped allot
