No I don't think it's any stronger it just allows the mounting of the SS shocks from the 411 2.0

Are the lower shock towers and shorter shocks just to lower the CG a few mms? Hardly seems worth the expense.. I'd have to compare it back to back. Same with the harder plastics. Although if they have less flex, I'm sure I could feel that. And hear them snap a little louder when/if I catch a board.

There's no need to dremel the chassis on either side.

The best options for the car would be ceramic bearings and the chassis weight

For me I realized that I need to shave the chassis in the belts area because when the belts are new, theres a print out of the part number on it or something like that, after I used it, that print out gets erased. The only safe assumption I can make.is that.the chassis erased it which has,I would say, a little bind.

Carnage! Dude u have to teach me how to reinforce that shock tower!how how?

Ceramic bearings should be great but I haven't tried using them because for the price I pay ceramic.vs steel, I would personally buy a steel bearing set after every 2 races, its still cheaper in a reliability vs cost point of view, for me at least. In my country, ceramic is 100dollars, steel is 10dollars.

If u will race in the ifmar, it is probable that there will be control trud tire.in that case, apple's to apple's,ul have a lower car than others, and 4.5mm lower is huge, for me at least.and I just had a race where I traction rolled,so I got the supershort shocks,il do anything to remove traction roll.instead of truing too much of my tires to stay low

Hi dan Il send you the after shaving picture soon for the front lower arms. I can't show you the before picture because I don't want to install the shocks with the arm unshaven yet because tightening the shock might bend the shock bar hehe

Maybe what u are doing different is ur using the higher holes on the shock tower or using the standard ballcups at the bottom?

Ok. A picture will make it clear then I can see what is the difference and let you know! Did you get your WC entry confirmed yet? Mine is!

I found that the car had less tendency to traction roll with the lower towers/SS shocks. It also improved the general balance of my car. Well worth the investment to be honest. I've not noticed that the harder plastics are anymore brittle/fragile than the standard plastics - lets put it this way I haven't broken anymore hards than I historically have standards!

I'm sure the above will be updated later in the year however all I understand is the rear windscreen of the body should be clear or lightly tinted the same as the front and side windows.

Why would you want to remove the windscreen completely? You are allowed to put a 50mm hole in the window for cooling purposes but the hole must not break into the roof line - i.e. it must stay in the window area. Thats how I understand it.

ya i know about the side windows, i know that part. the rear windshield i saw pictures of mark green's car, its like 10mm from the roofline, that's where he cut lengthwise.

the reason i want to cut the whole windshield ( which i know it might not be legal, which is why im asking about it) is because the more u remove, the less drag.because the angle of that windshield actually creates lift. not downforce.

thats the thing, the rule on this is NOT CLEAR. if it was, we would not talk about it and you wouldnt say " as i understand it"

i hope they clarify this rule, at least for ifmar newbies like me.

S411 is heading to the harder plastics as well. I heard that the harder plastics make the car have more consistent handling and cornering though they might be not as forgiving in a crash as medium plastics. You consider changing your plastics anyway in harder crashes even if they seem fine. It's just like you don't recommend to use aluminum arms due to the minute, unnoticeable bending in a crash.
I'm not sure in 747 but I do find the harder plastics give more consistent handling than medium in S411 though subtle.
