Everything else, different.
Paolo good info. I got a couple of questions. Are the diffs gears made of steel? How much weight is needed to get this car up to Roar minimum weight (1725)

Diff are completely new. New cases and new metal gears. The gear mesh in the diff is really good. The action is super smooth. You can either run 4 or 2 gears in the diff.

Regarding weight, the car was designed to use small servos and lipo batt. You are able to achieve the optimum static balance with this combo.

The kit car, with this servos and battery, is around 130 grams underweight

Thanks Paolo,

I'm glad to hear it comes with steel diff gears I'm not to keen on composite diff gears. I'm not sure where the legal weight is going to be set for the sedan class in the ROAR region. I just wanted to get an idea.

Thanks again

Pass you soon...

Default servos?

Which low profile servos do you all use/recommend for the car? I have been using full size servos with a KO Propo Eurus radio system. thx

I have 2 Ko Propo RSX one10 servos ready for my 747 when it arrives. I think I heard somewhere that the 747 has been designed for low profile servos for weight distrubution (I dont have any evidence to support this however - I could be wrong)

I went with these servos for 2 reasons:
- Low profile
- Ability to take 7.4 volts

Where did you buy this servo? Not on many RC sites yet.

what about pro shop futaba Krusty The RSx's are approx $130 from pro shop

RSx one 10 servos are 8 grams heavier (50 grams) per servo compared to the ko PDS 2413 (42 grams).

hi!

I just ordered 733/TE some weeks ago.

Now I see 747, you know what?
I will wait 1year for new serpent.

It looks like FAST MADE CAR, because owner must made something
to see if he can touch 1550g limit (which is pushed by italians ...)

So 2012 and 2013 is 733 (if I must I will do home mods to cutt off some weight).

Regards!

See pics in internet, it looks like updated 733 for "NEW" weight limit.

Maybe new gear diffs are NEW

Ok.

I'm sorry that I'm trolling there, I will not do it again.

Thank you,
m.

ps:I got my new 733TE then 2 or 3 weeks latter I got info there will be 747, I ask my dealer, if there will come something new, he said NO, I feel like troll now have hope that 747 bring serpent to something new, smarter and less screw chassis.
