Go a lot thicker in the front diff. Thiss will cure the on throttle understeer and reduce the amount of lock needed in the fast corners. Thats what causes the near roll.

3 mm split is too much. Use 2mm to start. As it does not hint of traction roll anywhere else I'd start with this.

Also smaller tires will help as the sidewall flex will be less. Going up one step inhardness fr and rear is another option.

Running a wider ackerman plate in the servo saver helps to tame the steering when you make abrupt corrections.

Start with this and report back.

conditions:
-default set up on all parts except:
-rear tires are 37 shore
-rear tires are 63 mm
-front tires are 60 mm
-shock holes on all 4 shocks are on 4 holes
-ride height is 6.5mm front and 7.5 mm rear
problem:
1. traction roll ( you will hear me say it in the video in the middle part while an MRX5 is chasing me) how do i remove traction roll in that part of the track where it happened CONSIDERING THAT
2. high speed understeer during fast areas like the sweeper after the stretch AND
3. oversteer in the hairpins in the inside of the track

would appreciate some expert advice.more options the better please please please
Most traction roll issues come from the rear of the car. 63mm is pretty tall for the rear tires. I would try a small rear tire. Any thing that gets the rear end to rotate more will solve traction roll issues.

i know its 63mm is tall but the ride height is still 7.5mm. does that low ride height matter? thanks lil bump and julius! will report back on april 17 on effect of the changes in the set up.

With a tall tire, the sidewall will flex in the turns which will definitely make the car want to traction roll.

A good way to get rid of traction roll is to have a wider track width in Front than in Rear. If you have high speed understeer you could try reducing the front droop. I'm not sure what you mean about oversteer in a hairpin since that's already 180 degrees lol :-)

I've got a question. When dealing with the front and rear wheel base on the 747 setup sheet. If you place the lower castor clips 1 in front and 1 in back of the lower arm is this considered "-1"? and if both clips are in the most forward position this is considered -2? Is so; If both clips are in the rear position this would be 0

Pass you soon...

plus 1 on that question above.

fyi, here is a video of my neon yellow 747. engine was at 102 degrees, a little rich. please finish the video, you will hear the 2speed engage later after the engine heats up.

comments on the set up, driving, and clutch please. i set my clutch a little loose because i dont want too much drastic clutch engaging, its hard to make the car settle at a very tight clutch for my driving style.

tires 37fr 37 rear, exceed, nova flash 102degrees on the m12 tempguage in the end of the run. orange springs front and rear. i moved forward the upper front arms, this change seemed to give me more onpower steering, instead of waiting for the car to turn then add more throttle. i liked it!!
here's the dogfight video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MvA_...ature=youtu.be

to make us serpent drivers feel better, i smoked the other car in the end hehe

Yeah he's gotta make the fueling hole bigger, the driver door window cutout, the hole for the ignitor, the rear window! The stinger hole! Dude your no where near done!! Also u prob could have passed a long zip tie thru the rear shock tower n attached a bod clip thru it, n grab the zip tie thru the cutout back window to open the tank lid....then u wouldn't have had to put that huge oval hole in the top of your body.....
