No. All the internal gears for the 747 differential are new and smaller. But you can use a complete 733 differential on a 747. And a 747 differential on a 733.

Default Setup Book

Hi

Anyone know where you can get a setup book for the 747, like the book that came with 720?

so many new options but no book to tell you how to use it

Or maybe someone from serpent could make a video with tips for 747.

the setup booklet for the 720 can still be downloaded. as all the info is still the same, as far as what the adjustments do, and the quick reference chart, the only real addition to this is the top front arm now has roll center adjustments.
additional Flex adjustments really are a thing to try at your track.

What offset wheels do I need to use on the front of the 747? Currently I have the thinner hex that came in the kit installed on the front and when I install my 0 degree offset wheels; the wheel rubs on the arm of the steering knuckle.

What offset are those wheels? I've tried Matrix Velocity and Matrix Kyosho and they both rub when I install with the thinner hexes.

My track width on the front is 198. But this should not matter. The tire rubs on the arm of the steering knuckle.

No problem with Ennetti/Xceed with the 4mm hexes, but when using Matrix I had to remove a small amount of material from the arm of the steering knuckle. Also needed to dremel down around the hex on the inside of the wheel as they were binding against the bearing/hub........

Thanks for the reply. I currentlly have the stock hexes on the front. It's not a big deal. I'm able to set my track width even with the normal hexes.

Now for the next question. The clutchbell and clutch weights included with my 747 kit are different than what came with my 733 TE. but the manual list the same part number for both parts. Is this going to be a running change?

I love this car

my clutch bell was the same, the weights were diffrent with another hole to make them lighter to engage later. i have also used the aluminum clutch bell with the black shoe with good results.
