Layout was changed so no laptimes to compare. car is lite even with with life battery, steel pivotballs, case for receiver car is still under 1700. rules are 1725 so i still have to add weight.
Excuse me waiter, two 747 kits please with a large Pepsi!

The 747 TQ'ed the ROAR Region 2 regionals this weekend with all STOCK parts & Nova KEEP-ON. It looked incredible.

A big well done to serpent this is there greatest quality car i have owned.
Why are you running a regulator Aron? Those servos are rated for 7.4v assuming they are the RSX One10 servos. Unless you are using the regulator connection as your on/off switch

Paulie good idea
' "find larger bearings to ride on the holder this will increase the diam and bring your belt down further".
I am going to try to go friday night to Homestead , car is great, plenty of steering. I want to try it on the big track

just finished putting my 747 together. The car went together flawlessly and I'm greatful for the improvements over the 733. Hopefully I'll be able to test it soon.

Default General questions

Hi guys, I am researching some cars for racing. I have previous owned a 710 (yeah its been a while)

I remember the car was nice but it was very fragile...
Are the current cars stronger?

1 also, how does the steering servo configuration work for you you guys?

2 What are the turnbuckles in the front of the car on the top deck along the upper arms pivot?

Thank you

the car is strong, not a issue
1 steering servo is same place as 733 and has worked great !
2 turnbuckles are for floating / flexable radio tray ( tuning option )

Thats tricky because my mrt no longer fits underneath the gas tank like it did in the 733. Currently i have it servi taped to the back of the steering servo undrneath the radio plate.
