AFM: Thanks, we had already replaced the bulkheads and plastic inserts as well as the chassis, but we still has issues. This week we replaced the 2 speed shaft and one way bearing, however we failed to finish the final due to further radio issues.

BJames: Richard has always run the receiver in the original spot, we have issues but continued as best we could. Again we have had issues and it is looking more and more like they are heat related from the temperature of the exhaust and engine and the location of the receiver. Had similar issues with my G4 back in the days and it caused me to change cars. Richard is at that point now as it is costing us results by not finishing week after week.

I have 2 r10 cars, 1 is setup and the other is spares. I never have issues getting parts for it at all as my lhs stocks all parts. I do have a tendency to strip spur gears even with a correct setup. I'm not sure if it's a heat issue melting them maybe or could be little rocks.. I don't know.
The 2speed is terrible and I had very inconsistent gear changes so I used and xray 2speed. I'm about to order front and rear Capricorn Kevlar diffs as I find the stock ones leak. I'm also using a set of the rear springs on the front as they are a bit softer and it seems to work for me. I love this car and I'm continuing to get faster and faster with it. I would be interested in reading people's setups and changes they have made.

I got my car in a trade along with some other stuff so its used but it appears to me that it has mugen gears on the two speed. I'll be getting it out for a little testing tomorrow but it will be mostly breaking in the new engine and not much racing.

We have been running Andy Moore's setup from the 2012 Worlds in Thailand at England Park at Brendale in Brisbane. Hot Bodies use to have to available to download on their website, but it has all disappeared now and HPI doesn't list much at all.

Thanks! Can't wait to get some more time on the car. Box setup felt pretty good but always nice to see what the team drivers are doing.

I had problems to find the optional 2nd Pinion Gears 22T/23T and the 2ND Spur Gear 53T (in US and Mexico).

Anyone knows if there is a compatible part (XRay/Capricorn/etc.)

XRAY spurs are compatible fully compatible....i donīt know if pinions i think you need to use XRAY clutch bell. also all the belts from XRAY are compatible.

Hi guys

I'm new to the nitro scene and have picked myself up a HB R10 kit just the other day.

I have finished building the kit and it was pretty straight forward. I have come across a problem though and I don't really understand what's making this happen...

The right side front arm wont move up and down freely, at first I thought it was a shock problem, then thought maybe something to do with the sway bar setup but it is none of the above. I have pulled the front end down to have a closer look and realised that the arm moves freely until I put the upper arm (108570) on the hinge pin then all of a sudden the arm won't move upwards... Any suggestions? Maybe I have done something wrong..

Your help is appreciated

Thanks

Blen

How much camber do you have on this side of the car? Is the front drive shaft bottoming out into the diff out drive cup?

Pass you soon...
