•IGT cars must be based on current production buggy/truck chassis, drivetrain and suspension components.
•Shaft drive only.
•Non-adjustable centrifugal clutches only – no Centax or adjustable clutches.
•Rubber tires only, no foam tires. Tires cannot extend beyond the body and fender flares may not be added to accommodate larger tires.
•No dish wheels – a minimum of 50-percent of the wheel face must be open.
•17mm hex hubs only – no quick-change hubs.
•Any commercially available “GT/GTP” racecar style/type body. The engine’s cooling head fins can not be exposed from top or sides of body. Rear wing and/or spoiler/flap must be attached to the actual body. (No chassis mounted or “Buggy/Truggy” type wing mounts).
•Maximum of two mechanical disc brakes, which must be mounted to the center. driveshafts/outdrives. No pressurized or electronic braking systems are permitted.
•Maximum of two-speeds – centrifugal, automatic transmissions only.

•150cc fuel tank limit.

Just want to clarify, with the above rules, the DM-1 with the longer chassis will not be able to run in the GT Class?

What I should have said was, would the OFNA 1/7 DM-1 Pro be allowed to race in the 1/8 GT Class?

You can run the 1/7 if you want to.. We don't run a spec class any more,, The GT class is an open class now and you can run a .21 to .28 motor.. It's all up to you...

Sounds like fun, this is going to be a great event! Planning on being there but need to decide on running 1/10 sedan or 1/8 GT. Not going to do the 2 classes at the same time again, just too much work. Will be great to see everyone again and get a good look at the new Cobra GT.

Regards,

Daniel

Jeremy,

For the 10 min. qualifiers, is it mandatory to pit at least once or there is no such rule?

Damn Andy! How big is your fuel tank? LMAO! J/K....Hey, if you can get 10 mins. on a run more power to you. I don't think there is any rule on mandatory pits. I'd do it if I could. Maybe I'll do some testing to see if I can get that kind of run time.

Regards,

Daniel

As long as the fuel tank is 150cc then you're good to go.
