THE BAD
Driver/car owner transponder's should "ALWAYS" be clean & the biggest problem
"at my local track" is the driver/owners of the cars don't mount the transponder properly.
You can tell some one roll there car under the start/finish 20 times an it works, then in race they miss laps.
You have to talk to driver/owners to reposition there transponder.

THE GOOD
Transponders are almost 1/3 the price of AMBrc
http://rclapcounter.com/page1/page1.html
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ed-Transponder(ambrc transponders can be had cheaper than this, just an EXAMPLE)

The system is worth every cent that you pay for itif the transponders are mounted correctly.

Can you tell I HATE COUNTING MISSED LAPS

GREAT UPDATE ON I-LAP
WE HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR OVER 2 MONTHS AND THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD EVER THINK OF USING AMB/MYLAPS AGAIN. WE HAVE NOT HAD 1 SINGLE PROBLEM AND WE HAVE BEEN IN BOTH SEVERLY MUDDY TO BAD DUSTY ON OUR OFFROAD DIRT TRACK.18TH SCALE TO 1/8TH SCALE. I JUST HAD TO SAY THANKS TO CRAIG AT I-LAP FOR MAKING A INCREDIBLE AND AFFORDABLE TIMING SYSTEM.

Hi guys, We are buying the I-Lap system and 10 transponders for our track.
Which program do you recommend?
I already downloaded Laps Free, but have some better program?

I personally like rc scoring pro a 5 car version comes with I-LAP and you can upgrade to 10 car for around 200 bucks.
