Default Identifying Mt-12 Turbo engine.

Hi, I just bought a used mt-12 engine. How do you identify if it is infact a true turbo other than by looking at the plug. Is there special lettering or different outside desgins?

Thanks.

Check to see if it has a turbo head button.

It's got a turbo button, I can see that. But is there any other way to check it's a true turbo, because you can just take a stndard mt-12 and put in a turbo button but than it's not a true turbo because the internals are not that of a turbo.

Pull the back plate off and check the crank. The crank should be way different looking than a standard crank. There should be a channel in the back of the crank.
