Heheheheh ...

I dont know how the new [email protected] will be ... i know the prototype (named as GT6) but i dont know the final version ... and i promissed to Masami not to publish the pics or detailed info about it ...

Now ... this is a GT4 forum and i know a lot of people racing their GT4 vs new kits and winning, so lets share a little about it !!

cya !

Default receiver holder

I agree Tabushi the car is outdated, I think its been three years now with no real change to the look of the car. ANd i think yokomo is beign start about the look of the car because right now kyosho has a new 1/10 car coming out, also the Trinity's G4 is the next best thing aside with the MTX3.

What i did was change the look of my receiver holder and made it Mugen style.

hope u guys like

Selling the last of my GT4 parts pretty soon on eBay later.

Maybe I'll get back into it if Yokomo comes out with a new car soon. I've been running the GT4 platform since it came out and have to agree that its pretty dated.

rodyroem, the Neo Attack 1/10th fuel tank fits but the rollbar gets in the way of the tank lid. The MTX-2 tank works but you'll have to make a little spacer out of lexan since it comes a bit short.

BTW, whats wrong with the stock Yok tank? I thought it was fixed with a new lid the last time I raced my GT4R.

i would like to separate the things ... ok, the GT4 its @[email protected] vs others kits ... now ... its really LOW PERFORMANCE vs other cars or not ... i mean, one thing it the brand not developing new kits for nitro 200mm and other different thing its to say "ok, the gt4 dont work as well as others on the tracks" ...

opinions please ...

Looks like either you trying to make RC magazines or you own a share on LHS (j/k)

Yes, the GT4 is outdated. Is it a bad handling car, not at all. Can it use improvemnts to its suspension? Yes.

IMO the car itself is not outdated, but the suspension geometry is. And also the CG is higher than most of the other cars.

Theres a quote form Ron Dennis in the current issue of Road & Track magazine where he states that the McClaren cars are 4 seconds per lap faster than last year, but the other cars are also faster.

So is the GT4 slow, not at all, but it could be faster. OF course for 95% of us the difference is so small that it wont keep us from winning. Ultimately it comes down to the driver. I bet Michael Salven could beat any of us in a Nitro RS4.

Thanks for your opinnions ... and no, i dont share a quote on an LHS ...

The thing its that im trying to get opinions over the internet about this phenomenom (as i see) of trying to get the top of the line equipment always but dont stop and think "maybe i stay with this car and take care of my driving issues" ... and i dont know for you guys, but down here in southamerica a lot of people compaints over the RC equipment price but in parallel are buying and buying new cars (GT4 owners included) cause "the GT4W2L its not on the same level as other new cars" ....

For me its clear, "Ultimately it comes down to the driver", im not a top driver down here. This year due to work issues (working weekends) im not running on local races but last year i participated on the local championship and managed to get 2 3th and 1 4th place runing against Mugens, Serpents, G4's, etc ...

And at the end of the year 2003 a G4 driver who had his car broken run the one event with my car and managed to get 1st place on the A Main ... so ... the car dont have all the new improvenets, yes it does not have them, but its still very competitive against others ... YES IT IS ...

I know i little "not objective" with my opinions, but im a Yokomo fan and over that im convinced about the "work the hand, dont buy and buy and buy" theory ... anyway, im waiting too for the next Yokomo nitro 200mm and im sure i will buy it, but im not leting my GT4 go ...

cya guys !! ...

AFM, what are you runing ???

Now im dissapointed ... as far as i know, Yokomo will not attend (at least not Masami Hirosaka) the 200mm nitro IFMAR Worlds down here in Brazil ...

The reason, its seems that the electric worlds are more important ...

Now i would like to know what will happen with the nitro sedan that Masami was testing ...

cya !!

I know that Masami wont come anymore becouse of this.... so the next yokomo 200mm car is far away from our hands!!!
