Revelation is nowhere near mud, of any kind( unless you consider that plot of dirt across the street a mud-hazard). But then again there is the off-road track. Seriously, I think the track is fine. There are sure going to be a lot of people there seeing that it's right after eeryone getting their new toys. I got a new one too so hopefully I will be out there. Might dust off my GT-4 though and see how it goes.

Sweet, glad to hear that. Unfortunately (well not really unfortunate) I am gonna have to pospone nitro racing a couple weeks, I gotta get some practice in for the northwest carpet champs in Stockton, just decided that I'm going for sure.

Default Problem !!

Guys, i have a problem here ... it happened about a year ago but i dont remember the solution ...

Everytime i accelerate full from "ground zero" the car go a little to the right ... but once it is on second gear and full throttle it dont have any problem ... i played with the steering trim and did a lot to the left and when you apply full throttle from zero it looks like a dog when they walk "crossed style" ...

I changed the axles, the outdrives, from front solid rear diff to front one way rear solid to full diff to all combinations and it goes equally wrong ...

It bothers me only on the start line or every time i have to dis-accelerate and go full throttle again ...

Help will be appreciated ...

cya !

I think I gave you the cure the last time. It would appear that you either have a blown bearing in one of the hubs or you have tightened one of the pillow balls more than the rest on the right hand side.

Went to the field today with my friend. Saw few 1/8, 1 NTC3, and 1 G4. The TC3 was using a RBX12 3ports. That could catch up with the 1/8. Well, i mean that 1/8 was faster than the tc3, um....i think by 10mph? The G4 was fast, don't know what engine, but it was fast at the end speed, as fast as the tc3. so, is suck.
i bought a MR4 SD with a stock motor. i didn't put it on the track for it was a shame, too slow, and don't know why i always have interfer with my radio when my car is far away.
i built a GT4W2L with NS3 on it. do you think my gt4 could catch up with those 1/8? and that TC3? can't wait going to the field next time. still have to wait for my friend finished his R40 with RBV12 5ports. Um....can i beat my friend ass?

Super Drift Car - Initinal D
Guess it is not a GT4, but can GT4 do such drifting in out door field?

Tabushi,

I would do everything modellor suggested and also
check tweek in the car. try lifting the right rear tire and see
how high you can lift the the tire before the front right tire lifts
then do the same for the other side left to right front to back
until you get it pretty close.

I'll start racing at Rev in the middle of the month or so, but I gotta get a lot of practice in on my SD for the carpet champs coming up Jan 9-11. Nitro is just going to be a fun class for me, propably wont get too serious for some time.

RE: tire shore

randman 40 shore seems to work out good for me all around.
you could try the 38 shore on some days but if you plan on
running CP or REV you might want to go with 40 and above.
I also recomend using a low profile steering servo such as
the futaba or JR for a little bit lower CG.

Cool, I'll just start out with the 40 shore and see how it works.. I already picked up a S9550 for steering

power is what you need for GP. i would give up the little weight and use a 9451 for steering. 9550 for throttle.
