Well guys I am back.

Went to the opening race this weekend at Olde Towne Hobby in Manassas Va and had the worst push ever. I was wondering what you guys run for Toe in the Front and rear. I am running a gear diff in the rear and front one-way.

Wow, if you're pushing with a one-way up front, you either had tremendous rear traction or zero front traction. I run 1 degree toe-out in front and 2 degrees toe-in at the rear. If you have lots of rear traction, then you shouldn't mess with the rear of the car. You need to add steering. Is it pushing on-power? off-power? First thing to try is tires. If you have lots of rear traction, I would add some rake (front end lower than the rear). There are other things to try also like droop, springs, etc but you have to describe the situation a little more because you don't want to adversely affect the rest of the car just to gain steering.

Francis - How do you like the car so far? How does it drive compared to the MTX3 and NTC3?

i'm happy with the car i had some carb issue on an old
engine but i'm just 3/10 of my regular pace on the first
time out with the GT4. as for handling and gearing spread
out on the car i'm happy with it.

Ballpy

When you arrived at the track last Sunday your car had the front solid axle. When did you change it? What oil are you using in your shocks. What time are you going on Sunday?

about the centax clutch.. wuts the average shim setting for the front and the back shims.. I can't seem to get it right. it either locks the clutch to the clutch shoe when tightened or it's jus too loose. Sometimes the screw keeps changhing settings even if i use thread lock and let it dry fully.

Hey rccraze

Are you having problems with the New Yokomo centax clutch??? I've been thinking about getting one, but if people are having problems, I'll wait until they get it right...

Thanks

Default A good setup

Hello Everyone,

I just got a yokomo gt4 and am wondering what would be
a good starting point for...
front camber, caster, toe
rear camber, toe... and so forth
The track we are racing on is ashfault, on road course. very smooth. I am using the following tires yokomo 138 gh (front)
yokomo 138 GF (rear) with firm inserts

Thanks in advance

O BTW i got my centax figured out.. finally... I had to do some custom work in order for the clutch to fit properly and still spin freely. Now im enjoying my car. Beats my old hpi by many times
