Default Nitro Sedan Tire Blowout

Seem like some Hong Kong shops have been taking a chunk of tires sales from US shops. As a result our sales of Take Off Foam tires have slowed down. We have a few thousand tires in stock that are priced too high so we decided to blow them out.

While supplies last all Take Off foam tires will sell for $8.99 per pair. These are premium tires not cheapies. The have more traction than Nitro Shoes with better wear.

Dealers fee free to call us as will will discount them so you too can retail them for $8.99.

Order or Dealer Inquires call: 813-889-9691 or email [email protected]

Standard tires: $8.99pr

Are the 26 mm's the front type foam and 30's rear type? What type are the 28s?

Seem like some Hong Kong shops have been taking a chunk of tires sales from US shops.

I totally agree, however if I can get a better price (ie 5.99 to $8) for a set of foams I too would buy overseas. One LHS sells sedan foams (in general) 17.99/pr to $23/pr

some Shops just rob when it comes to some prices

26mm tires are made from front tire rubber, 28 and 30mm are rear rubber.

This isn't the computer industry where a company can sell tens of thousands of hard drives all day at a 2% margin. Manufactureres need to get paid, distributord need to get paid and hobby shops have to pay for buildings, parts, staff, etc. This Hong Kong thing will not last forever. A few major companies are dropping the HK shops or having them sign contracts that they will not sell into the US market.

Take Off and Schumacher spent thousands of dollars developing these tires. They are awesome but when we sell out we are done. We made a superior product but could not match the HK prices...so we sell at a small loss and dissapear from the market until thinks change.

Purchasing from the internet has changed and will continue to change economies in many industries not just RC. I dont think it will "go away", manufacturers are just going to have to take a look at their distribution channels etc or offer something more to the consumers in the "expensive" countries.

How much for all the tires you have, I mean everything, add it all up and send me a pm. Thanks, Brandon Krell, or you can send the # to my email-

[email protected]

And also tell me how many pairs I would be getting.

"More traction than Nitro Shoes with less wear?" Come on Adrian, you've got to be kidding.

what's the advantage of multi ring or standard tires? Why would you want two different types?

thanks.

Jack - My comment is just relayed from racers that have tried them. You know foam way better than me but these things are crazy. I dont know what Take Off makes them out of. All I know is that when I asked them to come down on prices that said it was impossible. Maybe its some crazy compound other companies had too much sense to try due to cost. Regardless....we are no threat to you. Once these are gone we are done with the foam tire game.

Multi rings are made up of ~5mm layers of foam glued toghter. This forms a structure in the tire that reduces sidewall flex. They have less side bite than a standard tire in the same compound.

Stick to your guns, Adrian......I didn't think much of Nitro Shoes either(even when I tried them on my TC3).......
