I don't have a mtx4 so can't say much about it. But as spirit is the current model vs. the mugen which the new mtx5 is out already. Should it be easier to get parts for the Edam? For handling the Spirit is very similar to kyosho. The car feel more aggressive compare to NT1. It feels the car have more front end grip compare to xray, atleast my xray. Maybe it is my setup, but it is just my 2 cents after running and setting up these 3 tourings.

Congrats!!! You will not be dissappointed with the EDAM. Visit their site when you get a chance, as they recently released some new parts to help with rotational mass, steering and overall weight.

As for your question concerning which motor: try Murnan, http://murnanmodified.com/index.php

Sure you are making right choice. motor Murnan's are very good. I tried the Reds lately and I am quite suprise. Maybe you can give it a try too.

Sorry I am not 100% sure as I am running the .21 reds in my Mugen now... My friend is running the .12 red in his NT1 now with good result.... I know he tried a few different sets and finally use a nova rossi pipe now but not sure which model it is....
