Default Availabilty of Bodies for HPI and AE

Hey guys. I have been a long time electric RC fan but am gonna swing towards gas now. I decided on a TC3 RTR to start with but it seems that there are almost no nice looking touring bodies for this car. I can only find 3 or 4 bodies at the most for this car. I can't find any anywhere. I noticed that for the RS4 Evo 3 there are tons of nice looking bodies for it (ie. 998 turbo,viper,m3, other imports too) especially on the HPI site. Can anyone tell me if there are any bodies for the TC3 like the ones for the RS4. If so please point me in the right direction. I want the car for its performance but i also would like some good looks too.

Thanks..much appreciated.

In general, any manufacturers body will fit any touring car as long as you get 190mm body for electric and 200mm for gas.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I know that HPI bodies come with dimpled markes on the bodies so you know where to drill to mount the body on the shock tower but will the holes line up for a AE TC3??

Thanks again.

No the holes won't match. Drilling the mounting holes prior to painting is the easiest way to mount the body. I think HPI is the only MFG to have the dimples and they only work for the HPI cars.

Check out protoform and parma as well. I mark the mounting holes with a sharpie on the top of the body before painting, most of the manufacturers have an overspray mask on it already, so when you peel it of the marks are gone to.

Does anyone know if the stock TC3 body is available clear? It seems to come only pre-painted black or white w/the decals arleady on it.
