Gotta say props to Serpent for keeping their price promise!!

EUR 289 vs over EUR 500 for most of the NR and RB motors and 700 for the JP. Well done!

Lets see how the motors perform now.

As said on mytsn by Rick V the engines will be up to par with the rest of the high-end racingengines. Looking at the prices for the spare parts this engine range is surely one to think about when in need of a new engine.

composite carb is better than metal one "IF" it's correctly design and manufactured.

The 5 ports turbo MS should be below $220 (in Asia, very good chance it will be below $200 US, espeically from the place I called RC HEAVEN named HK)....
Then the 3 port Turbo MS is around $180..........(all US currency)

I have to say, SERPENT is really getting my support back, still, I have a little hold back about the S710, but at least, they have a very good ENGINE line up that came with a "REALIZTIC" price tag...(P/S set below $80....good deal)

Yes, ppl might say it is overall a PICCO P-series engine with MEGA tag............but if I can get a engine for $180-210 range that can RUN against (may be a hair slower, but I am sure they are close)big boys like NR12, Max or JP for $100-200 cheaper.........THAT is well worth to try...

And if that engine can really performs like GREEN does at the WORLD..........I care the less the engine is made out of OS shell or Team Associate Pull start 15 stock engine block.....LOL

P.S....if I remembered correctly....Mark Green's S710 was clocked the FASTEST 200mm at the Worlds over the Kyosho's Sirio engines...
