Default rs4 or tc3

As some of you might know Im looking for a good RTR nitro car because a kit would be to much, and I dont have tons of knowledge like you all do.
Basically now I am looking at the HPI Rs4 EVO and the Team Associated NTC3 Plus.
The EVO looks good because it is a updated RS4 which seemed to be a good car, the TC3 everyone seems to love.

Now, I wont be racing or anything, these are just for fun around my town, parking lots and my street.

What stock would be fastest, and easiest to maintain?

the NTC3 has the "sure shift" instead on the RS4 it has the two speed transmission with the balls and the spring tension.
the NTC3 has one long drive shaft instead of two dinky thin dogbones
NTC3 can handle alot more power than the RS4 could handle
NTC3 has better handling options.....castor clips...cambper and toe out and in are much more efficiant than the RS4
pivot ball suspention
NTC3 overall chassis has a much lower center gravity than the RS4 everything is much higher on the chassis
NTC3 comes with ball differential and the RS4 comes with bevel geared differentials

the overall design of the NTC3 is a much more practical and well handled car than the RS4. I do reccomend you buying the RS4 or the NTC3 both very well mad kits but i would recommend you buyin an NTC3 if your going to get into racing and ugrading your motors and getting better with handling........althouh, if your just going to screw around with it on the street ur better off going for the cheaper one (RS4) because why spend more money on a better kit if your just going to trash it on the street........the RS4 isnt a bad car at all but the NTC3 is a much better made car.

so the ntc3 plus is basically more built for racing while rs4 evo is more built to messing around in a way.

I have both cars also......

I would go HPI for bashing only......Why?.....no ball diffs, easier maintenance, and the bottom line is,its made for bashing...the parts have a bit more give,HPI's bodies line right up for easy mounting, and the new version with the 18 should haul....

Cool Traxxas

Why don't you try a Traxxas Nitro 4Tec RTR
It is a highly durable and fast car.
It goes over 60 miles per hour!!!
Traxxas has always been advertised in real sports cars magazines.
Traxxas Nitro 4Tec has won Car Of The Year Award.

I thought the rs4 evo only had a .15X engine?

The 4-tec looks cool but I dont see many people with it though.

Cool 4TEC, CT4S, NOVAROSSI

Well, there are three types of 4Tecs.
Electic 4Tec, .15 engine Nitro 4Tec, and 2.5 Nitro 4Tec(fastest).
I know why many do not have this car.
It is because the 4Tec is hard to work on. But I don't believe them. Even if it is true, it is worth it if you're in the need for speed.
I also know cars that are faster than the 4Tec.
CEN ct4s goes 70+ miles per hour but be careful because I know a person who bumped his ct4s once and it was rammed. It became L-shaped.
The other fast car is the Novarossi which goes 90+miles per hour.
These cars are for DRAGS. And they can beat 1/5 scale r/c cars!!!

Well another reason rs4 or tc3 is its in my $300 budget range and everyone has knowledge of them unlike me, they just seem decently good and maintance wise.

fastharry - where do the rs4 come with a .18

Default hpi rs4 3

I have talked to my local hobby shop and they agree with the HPI.
However, it is not EVO. It is the HPI RS4 3. I like HPI RS4 3 too.
But whatever your choice is, you have my full support. I have a pic for you. It is an HPI RS4 3.
