me?

Don't push it. I may know alot but I have no experience. I am only going to run my nitro r/c car on Thursday when it is going to arrive. I don,t even know how how really big these things are. Hehehe. I'm only 14 years old. Anyway, if you are looking for good radios, receivers, and servos, I think Futaba is good. I see alot of HPI RTRs and Kits that have these radios. They cost $50.00 and more according to what type you are going to buy.
I like the Futaba Magnum Sport Radio. You can find new/used and cheap ones at www.ebay.com.

I bought the HPI RS4 3 because it is a reliable car.

hpi's race designed r40 is not similar to the rs4. while associated's ft ntc3 is VERY similar to its rtr version.

Alright I think i narrowed it down for sure to the HPI rs4 EVO or the Team Assoc. NTC3 because kits will just put more of a crater in my pocket and I dont need a racing machine when I wont be racing, so basically you all say NTC3.
If I had another $100 to spend what mods would you get?

you would only need foam tires for racing, the rtr stock tires are fine for bashing around in open lots. and hitec makes good servos, but look at airtronics, they are probably the best ones out there that are affordable.
