ae if they do bring out thr ntc4 it will not be a big change to the all ready winning platform because why change something that works really good and winning a lot o races. all of ae cars are a simple design and as the car goes from the tc3 to tc4 or t2 to t4 it will only get bettor because it is still gowing in the same way to builed it bettor with the info and technolgy that they have at the time. i am saying this because i race and i been racing ever since the tc3 came out and as the tc4 came out now i been drive the tc3 for around 4 years i seen the car gow from builet out of the box and run to open the box and then mill the chasice and then do the tranny boxs and thn the gear so the tranny was smoth . so now all the stuff that the factory guy did to the car now all of you can go and buy the tc4 and run the best car on the market period so if ae had change the design of the car to be somthing diffrent then non of you would know how good the tc3 hybrid or the tc4 would drive so that is the reason ae those not change the car design that much so it can gow in the same direction and just keep on improving the winning design

The diff gears are brutal, I got a high hp motor and stripped gears like mad! They are really the only problem with the car!

Look at the NTC3 and at the current FT-NTC3 it already is the NTC4.

I have a novarossi ns3.12 in my ntc3 and I have raced it may times and I never striped any gears

the only improvement they can do is to make it a center shaft drive like the kyosho

they have to make a tc4 because the tc3 is geting blown by while in the pits replacing the front oneway gears all the time..... you need 20 plus gears to get thur a weekend or be a barry baker and not hit a wall, pipe or even look funny at it or the rest of the heat will blow by ya while your in the pits

Default Waiting...

I'm living in Malaysia.
Been a fan of AE and Yokomo from the days of YZ10 and Super Dog Fighter.
Waiting to buy a nitro TC but a bit skeptical about the TC3 coz of the gear stripping and also waiting to se if they'd release a TC4 that solves the stripping problem.
Most people here are running Serpents, Mugens & Kyoshos...

Default Diff gears stripping?

I have a ntc3 rtr + with the .15 engine, and it has been raced and stacked a few times never has it stripped the gears, maybe you are referring to a front oneway perhaps the car is absolutely awesome, only problem I have found is sometimes the screws on the front diff casing especially come loose, (it does it on the rear, but not as bad) maybe this is why you are stripping gears.

Just my opinion

SO if you stick more power in these eg novarossi, the front gearbox breaks, is this correct?

also a guy at my local track has a pretty far from standard ntc3, he doesnt appear to trash the front box, BUT he has modified the front casing, and his car seems quite reliable which would make me think that the problem is the casing, not the gears the season is over now so I cant get more info from him. also theres a thing called "the fix" for ntc3's at
