Default Ofna 10216 Plug Driver

Hi guys,

I just picked up one of these on ebay in a parts lot and I'm not sure what the adjustment screw on the right does. Here is a link to the OFNA website for the item. OFNA does not have instructions online for it. Does someone have instructions they could send me or some information on it? It would be greatly appreciated.

Eric.

ps Here is the link, it's the item # 10216 (Glow plug cable)

It's for voltage adjustment. In other words, how hot you want your glow ignitor to be.

Default OFNA Plug driver

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. So what's the idea here? Am I supposed to check the output voltage? The output voltage of a rechargeable plug driver should be about 1.2v to 1.5v

You mentioned that I can set how hot I want the driver to be. How do I know what is too hot and too cold? If anyone can answer these questions I would appreciate it.

Eric.

Leave it at medium. The high setting is supposed to make an engine that is flooded easier to start like say when you are breaking in a motor.
