how to remove them?

I use a small slotted driver placed on the two ends of the `E`and,by applying a little presure, lift enough to remove with my trusty finger nail.

Sometimes I like to spend my quality time hunting for e-clips on my lounge carpet - sharpens the vision no-end !!!

Small e-clips sometimes loosen after being removed more than once.Gently close them with pliers and they are fine.

Or you can use an E-clip remover tool. Do it the right way without damaging anything.

in the middle of the e clip theres a space

use a slotted screwdriver, put it where the space is twist the screwdriver and it will pop out with ease NO FORCE NEEDED should just pop right out

redsand, those tools are great but are way too big for our little e-clips.

greddy, that works great and is the way I have done it for years. The only ones that doesn't work on is the 2mm e-clips you see on shock shafts which can be a royal PITA.
