Default Which car to buy?

I know this must have been up several times, but I can't find any threads...

Anyway, I'm going to buy a new car to replace my old Impulse pro this x-mas and I'm really into the S710 since i've had 3 serps and I have loved them all. I also have pretty easy to get parts for it. But before I spend any money (don't have that much, only 14) I wanna know so I don't miss anything, I have possibilitys to get a MTX-3, or G4 but Kyosho is out of question since it's almost impossible to get parts for them in sweden. NTC3 is also out of the question since I think it looks fraglie (how do you spell that?) and I can't afford a new starterbox

The thing I wanna know is, is 710 a "gogo" or a "nono"?

Part of the fun of the hobby is your love for the hobby..I know my R40 has faults,as all the cars do....but I love HPI stuff,so I run the car and support the company(BTW,I'm a impulse and Veteq owner too)

so I say,go with the Serpent..

How would a 710 sold in the states be cheaper than buying one from down the road ?
I suspect that there are quite a few serpent fans at your local track - chat to them , they may help you in your quest for a cheap 710.
Check out prices of spares as these can vary also.

I believe there's currently a promotional rebate of USD 50 from Serpent USA if you buy the 710 there...

Besides in Sweeden where New_Toasted is at, things are locally more expensive.

Yes as IntialD says, RC is REALLY exspensive in Sweden, I pay 715 USD for a basic std. 710 kit at the cheapest LHS I know, 850 USD is the distributors price! But the parts are pretty normal in price, arund 5 USD for a wishbone.

Tooned G4, yes, but in fact, it's one of those Serpent fans who help me get one in the US..

Probably, they take the price of ALL parts int he 710 kit and calculate them to get to arrive at the USD 715 or 850 figure !

No Onkel Sow ! It's USD 715 and not USD 710... Updated version.
