Default HELP WITH GETTING MY RB C12 TO START

HELLO FOLKS I HAVE A RB C12 IN MY HPI RS4 IVE HAD THE CAR FOR A WHILE AND LOVE IT!!! I HAVNT PICKED IT UP IN A FEW YEARS IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IT STARTED BUT DOESNT START....ONLY WAY IT STARTS IS IF I PUT FUEL DIRECTLY INTO THE CARB ITLL RUNN FOR 5 SECONDS THEN TURN RIGHT OFF...WHAT COULD IT BE? WHAT SETTING SHOULD I HAVE SO IT CAN START HELP!!!! COMPRESSION FEELS DANDY FINE THXX

I'm not familiar with the RB C12, but have you tried all new fuel lines? If it has been sitting for a long time they might have old gummy oil in them. You should be able to blow through the fuel tube that goes to the exhaust and carb easily. I would also check for air leaks on the exhaust side. It sounds like the car is not getting fuel and that might mean the exhaust is not pressurizing the tank as it should. How that helps!
