But what about the handling, I heard tc3 is better but is the tec handling ok or does it suck

Don't know much about the Tec, but I do have a NTC3 and it's awesome! You might want to consider the HPI RS4 Nitro 3 also, it comes with the new BMW M3 body it's pretty sweet as well.

The 4tec goes great in a straight line and handles decently for bashing, but if you put it on a track you would be spending more time under/oversteering then anything else. So handling is pretty crap for track purposes.
The NTC3 would have better handling because it was more or less designed to be used on a track or for general bashing, unlike the 4tec which was designed to go fast. The NTC3 can go fast if you put in something like an OS 18TZ or a nicely modified .12 or .15, and is more track friendly with more adjustability - especially with a nice .12 in it.

i owned both and the tc-3 the best for bashing & racing plus the chassis is strong also way easy to repair compare to the 4tec
