Strip the car down to bare chassis, lay chassis on setup board or glass. Check the straightness of the chassis for twist and bow. The chances are if you have had a good whack that could be it. If the chassis is good, check suspension for binding. Make sure the pivot balls are free, put equal sized tires on the car (left and right equal). shock length should be even, and then put the car on the tweak board with bars disconnected. set tweak, then you can attach bars, there shouldn't be preload in the bars. Also make sure shock shafts aren't bent causing bind.

Hope this helps.

Default springs

Also check the shock springs to be equal. With the shocks not mounted I have found out that although the shocks are equal length when the spring load rings are set equal one spring plays more than the other.

What could be causing the tweak...shocks are identical length, sway bars have been removed (same tweak)..

What are the usual suspects for a tweaked car.

Thanks!!

Do you race with Jason MacDonald? If so, check your chassis. If your pipe is bent, well, that would mean you were "Shinged"

I'm just sayin'....

I couldn't resist...sorry Mike and Jason.

I had a similar problem once and it was the front sway bar that was causing it. One of my front sway bar blade was bent on the edge side of it, not on the flat side....
