But, I guess your still right though, a couple of slow pit stops for anyone and it's going to be a nail biter.

The Kruzer V1 or V2 with V1 and the P37 were the most popular bodies.
Dirk used a V1 Kruzer and Pietsch a P37.
The new Mugen looks pretty nice, was a bit disappointed with the front end though. It's a bit messy and a lot of plastic.
The tire situation still sucked. For example, the drivers which were in the first four heats had to hand in their tires one day in advance. As we all know a fresh cut tire has the best performance, so this was quite a disadvantage for some drivers.
Also as already mentioned you had to use a new set every round and ideally hand in six tires before every round. "Luckily" the wear was really bad so you needed a new set for every practice round anyway.
I also experienced a very weird situation before my last round of qualifying. In the morning it had rained and so I was making sure all the electrics were watertight, because of this I was too late for the warmup of my qualifying round. Normally this doesn't matter and the only downside is you have to start the qually with cold tires.
But now the tires were handed out, and because I was too late for the warmup they decided I couldn't have my tires.
So they disallowed me to run my last qualification round where the conditions were very good, a lot of drivers improved their time.
Afterwards I received an apology from one of the efra officials that this never should've happened but they wouldn't let me run in a different heat so I could still have my fourth qualification.
Without the tire impound this would have never happened.
Either they change to a controlled tire or allow tire additive, with the current rules I won't attend an EC anymore, complete waste of a lot of money for a private driver.
