help needed for how to upgrade

I purchased a Kyosho Porsche 911 GT1 (31602 GT) in 1999 from the UK before moving to the US and now I'm looking for parts to upgrade. The model has been discontinued and I don't kno whether I can or how to upgrade the basic kit.

The car was actually supplied with a .15 engine (GT 15S CR) rather than a .10 (Super Ten) as standard. I'm looking for various parts (not all at once!) required to upgrade from standard kit eg -
wide suspension conversion kit
hard chassis
carbon upper deck
Titanium suspension shafts
2 speed AT set
Aluminum roll bar
on-road shock springs
Suitable tuned exhaust set
steel differential pinion gear
Maybe even some engine and electronics upgrades later on as well

I'd really appreciate if someone would advise -
If some/all parts are not available, is it possible to substitute other brands/universal brands for the specific Kyosho parts?
Should I consider other manufacturers parts eg suspension components, or is it best to stick with OEM parts?
In fact, will other brands fit the chassis where necessary ???

Thanks for any help you guys can give a novice like me. Apologies for my ignorance!

The particular car i bought came with a .15 engine 'upgrade' (if you can call it that). The box states that rather tahn a standard .10 engine, the car came with a .15 engine.

Hope that makes sense. I'll try towerhobbies.com.

What i really wanted to know was whether it's possible to upgrade using non-Kyosho parts and, if so, which brand?

Thanks a lot
