Default mrx5 bodyies......?

I recently got my mrx5 and my quick question is if a hpi toyota gt1 body will fit? I see that the body is for 1/8th scale but am not sure if its too narrow to go over my rear wheels. Any advice on this or other "race car bodies" just for show out side the pan car bodies would be awesome. Thanks to anyone with any info.
