EFRA 1/8 ON ROAD EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011 - LUXEMBOURG

Europe's best drivers are competing for the 2011 European Championships at a beautiful track in Luxembourg.

World Champions such a Robert Pietsch, Lamberto Collari, Adrien Bertin, Daniel Ielasi are all competing in this big race.

I've gathered all the information I could find in my blog.

Steven Cuypers seems to hold on his very strong boost in performance he had on the last Dutch national:

With all the top names it will be a world class final !

Actually, that would be Pietsch/Balestri III. Balestri finished 2nd, just a few seconds behind Pietsch, at last year's Euros running a Motonica.

Great coverage, John...wish we had tracks like that in Southern California.

Interesting to note that Pietsch has moved the receiver back to the stock position from where he ran it at the Worlds.

I've heard (and a friend of me has tried on his MRX5) about problems on the RX451 and RX451R if mounted in the original position. My friend wrote to SANWA and they replied suggesting hime to move the receiver to the left side of the car to solve the problems. Issues were generated by the receiver box too next to the clutch. And really the problem were solved ;)

Maybe Pietsch has a new receiver that is unsensible to vibration..

My current car has the receiver (Spektrum) next to the exhaust, so I'm anxious to see if I'll encounter any problems in the Mugen.

may be because he now uses steel engine mounts and tray support, so now he doesnt need to use added weight as he did on the worlds, also i remember fukuda and hara using stock receiver box as well as the other 3 drivers that made it to the finalwith no issues however, anyway , its going to be an awesome final, collaria made it to top 3 on his last qualifier and he was going for a predicted 7:10 with 26 laps
