Default What The !!!

Goosein,

You gotta get off the puter and get some laps in so you can tell me some hints on whats working or not.

In fact all of us might like to know what is working for you !!!!!

By the way, lets pit together again so we have a good source of help when crunch time comes around and the lineups show that some of us are in the same heats etc.....

The more geese in the flock, the better we can help each other out !!!!!

hey guys im a fellow goose owner too. so plz help me

I came across a new problem today

my centax clutch outter portion will not spinn freely, it moves the flywheel too.

now I have since solved this problem, I got the centax clutch spinning super freely, when I spin it it spinds for like 3 secs freely.

and it has a little play back and forth, the play is very little, I can barely stick a sheet of paper through it.

Is this setting perfect? or the is the centax spinning too much or does it have too much play?

its to tight still you need it to float about .5 to .6 mm take more shims off the end behind the thrust bearing. If there all out put a few of the small ones on the end to space it out fatrher. if its as tight as you say when it heats up it will expand closing the clerance and the engine will bog and over heat.

this was probably your issue in the first place. use the spring to adjust the engagement point. it should not engage until you get off idle a ways.

set the needles where walter told you to and it will be close to start.

it got that play

and the centax spins freely

now I have another question while on the engine is the flywheel soposed to have absolutly no movement when u spin the centax? or is it always gonna show faint signs of moving?

it will always have a small amount due to clearance in the front bearing

Hi guys, I think I am ready to get this car, but I have some questions. Does the new kit comes with the new streering or should I order the new streering #1480? What color clutch spring do I get with kit? What other necessary parts do I need to make it race worthy?
Thanks in advance for your input.
