Fastrcracer: its 1.0 pitch dia

Marcos: that hurts, its a long way from the g4 trinity version. I guess more accuratly you could say it it the cousin of the Team Magic G4 EVO 2
I m sorry but they look the same to me

The difference is very slim but if you have the Evo & the Mongoose you will notice that the clucth shoe plate & the clutch shoe are about a.5mm difference you can not use either if you switched them this I know cause I have both of them. Which will be up for sale shortly. Working on something new.

Marcos if the answer you are looking for is are they the same the answer is yes and no that the Mongoose and the TM G4 evo2 are the same except for some kitting parts differences. will both cars swap all parts yes. Is it the same as the trinity car no. Trinity stopped importing the car when the E class came along which there have been major changes since then. And more changes will come again.

I was an informed buyer. I had heard several reports of people ordering what they thought was a Mongoose and it wasn't. So I took took the time to contact the seller and confirm ahead of time.

Can't be too careful.

Hey Dennis still in detox over the long drive 9 long hours & lots of rumble strips kept me & friend awake. 4 qualifers with clutch issues but the car was dialed for the main. Qualified 54 After a consistent 3 place pace reeled in first & broke when lap traffic closed the door on me overall had a great time. As for car it will be overhauled & try something new I set up an agressive set up on the car & besides the clutch issue the car did exactly what I wanted
Here is a little set up
diff fluid 50,000 wt
front spool Loved it
4 mm ride ht tires 42 shore all around trued to 58
camber 3.5 rear & links in bottom position, shocks layed down
front camber 2.5 caster links 1mm front 3 mm rear
shock oil stock front springs grey 1.8
rear shocks light blue 1.7
0 toe out 3 toe in
I tested this set up for three weeks & the car was very aggressive in techincal tracks & responded great
Also tested the ufo clutch system worked great in my other practice car
as for my clutch issues thanks for the help it all came down to the spring was getting to compressed & getting stuck I highly recommend the silver clutch spring & going to 1.4mm on the clutch nut it will give you a tremendous snap as for pinions it's trial & error depending on track size the stock felt really good for the GLC

Motorman

Your setup is pretty close to mine. I finished 3rd in the D main after running out of gas before my first pit stop. I couldn't get anywhere near 5min on that track. I was lucky if I got 4 1/2.

My setup was a lot different, My car was really good untill I broke it in warm-up for the B'main and missed the first few mintes of the race, but the car handled very well and had tons of steerin and was not loose at all.

Front Camber 2 Front Toe Out 1 each side
Blue TM 1.7 springs with 800wt oil with 2 hole pistons
Rear Camber 3 1/2 with 1 toe in each side
Aqua TM 1.6 springs with 800wt oil with 4 hole pistons
In the main I ran 37 fronts 60mm Nitro Shoes and 40 rears 61mm Nitro Shoes
In qualifying I ran 37's all the way around at 58 and 58.5 mm
I ran 50,000 wt diff oil in qualifying and 30,000 in the main.
I ran the front 1-way the whole time with a Mazda 6 body.
I really just needed more cosistant motor performance.
I used the orange 1.7 TM clutch spring with the brass fly-weights with the clutch nut at about 1mm.

My 2 cents.

Brad, if your car had shifted like it finally did in the main, you would have qual'd into the b-main instead of whatever you were in. Your car was good.

I was having engine problems all week. It ran very reliably, but was lacking on low end torque. Couldn't figure out how to fix that and still have OK straight away speed.

1 One thing about the toledo track. It sits right in the line of the jet stream and can see some fairly radical air density changes during a race day. Even living here it has burned me 2 years in a row. Even some of the A guys I talked to had tuning issues during the weekend. Its just the nature of where the track is located. some weekends its smooth sailing and others the motors just act cookoo. Especially the 12's
