Alright it worked!...If anyone wants to do it like this you have to dremel the upper plate a little bit but the receiver fits in nice and deep and in way less likely to take a hit....after you dremel the upper plate mount the rec. to the carbon fiber lower plate, elongate the mounting holes on the plate then you can screw it right to the right side chassis plate using the existing holes....I know it sounds confusing but once you have the peices in front of you and look at the pic you'll see how I did it.......if anyone likes it and has any questions feel free to ask

I'm to the point where I have to mount the upper deck to the chassis and wanted to know the trick to making the steering servo fit. Thanks

I have been noticing brake fade as well. I have to keep increasing the brake travel on almost each heat. Is there any fix to this. I am using the kfactory brake disk.

give it a while to settle in. it will take a few races you will then need to readjust the clerance with the screws.

Has anyone tried the K-Factory Ball Diff? Is this a must have item?

Default front diff question

My mongoose is on the way and i know i'm not a good enough driver to use the one-way (yet).

Is there a part # for the front diff or do i buy the same stuff as the rear diff but just add the front pulley?

Also -- does the ball diff work in the front ?

Sorry for the newby questions.

Default Front Diff

I put one in mine and it works great, I will get you the part #
when I get home from work.

I had asked the same question and got a great response earlier in the year.

I got it from a post on some of the earlier pages in this thread, take a look and see if you can find it !!!

It has some photo's etc....
